ammado’s Product Manager will be responsible for capturing the vision and making it happen. ammado is building the next generation social network. Leading the Product Management team, together you will capture the market needs and opportunities, define the resulting end user experience for the ammado website, and translate that into detailed requirements that will be used to drive the software development effort.You will have experience of Web 2.0 technologies, web portals and e-commerce web sites. You will lead the business analysts and creative designers in the product management group, working closely daily with the business team and technical team in a highly iterative Agile environment.Responsibilities:
* You will lead the Product Development team, comprising technical business analysts and web designers. * Together you will research, propose, collaborate, recommend and communicate requirements. * You will have a good appreciation for emerging Web 2.0 user experiences and how the market works * You will work closely with marketing and business development to understand their take on the world, ensure their needs are satisfied and ensure they are expecting what you plan to deliver. * You will work closely with the development group, agreeing and communicating requirements which you present in prioritised manageable chunks. * Collaborate in all the other areas of the business to ensure the vision is realised, and that new visions continually emerge.Requirements:
* Passion. You have a passion for excellent user experience. * You’ve done this before! You can demonstrate your previous successes in web-site product management from vague concept to satisfied consumers. * Excellent market understanding, team leading, big-picture vision, backed up by research, analytical, technical and marketing skills. * Excellent communicator you can capture great ideas which you can express succinctly to technical and non-technical audience. * New media experience web 2.0/flash/ajax/multi-media. A deep awareness of what is happening on the web. * You have a degree in a technical, business or communications discipline, coupled with >10 years industry experience. * It would be useful (though not essential as you are a quick learner) to have some experience working in iterative development environment such as Agile * You are happy working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment and can adapt quickly to changing priorities.To apply, drop an email with a current copy of your CV to careers@ammado.com and we will respond promptly.
