This career as Network Administrator with our computer client in West Dublin 15 IT Job, requires recruits to have minimum 4 -5 years Network Administrator, Systems Administrator, Network Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer, LAN Administrator/Engineer career or IT job experience, with M.C.S.E. Microsoft Certification or CISCO, CCNA being good qualifications in IT Systems, Server, Networking Certifications, for the IT Network LAN Administrator to have.
If you have strong Network, Server, PC Support with Systems Network Administrator experience & are currently an IT Network strong skilled Field Service Engineer with M.C.S.E or CISCO certifications, we will be delighted to get IT Network Support Candidates, who have excellent Field Service Engineer experience or very strong Senior Technical Support Server Level 3 IT job experience in Dublin, Ireland.
The responsibilities associated with the Network System Administrator role include, but are not limited to the following:
• Responsibility for management of LAN/WAN (Domain, Mail Servers configuration and maintenance) Network, Server experience.
• Maintenance and implementation of Backups
• Maintenance and upgrade of current Blackberry, Antivirus and SMTP traffic management software
• Support deployment of hardware, software, service and maintenance of all IT assets
• Hardware and software maintenance and procurement
• Provision of technical support to staff members
• Implementation and inspection of network security strategies
Skills You need for Network Administrator Systems Administration IT Job.
• Practical working knowledge of networking (including DNS/WINS/DHCP)
• Experience with CISCO routers and Juniper firewall configuration an advantage
• Excellent working knowledge of Windows and UNIX based server operating systems (Windows 2000, 2003, CentOS, Sun Solaris)
• Experience in managing integrated Windows and UNIX based domains
• Knowledge of anti virus technology, software and best practices
• Strong MS Exchange Server; working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Mail Server family.
• Excellent understanding of VPN technology and network security including ISA Server as well as user/site VPN and firewall rules
• Disaster recovery planning and testing
• Knowledge of IIS 5 & 6 an advantage
IT Qualifications Network, Systems, Microsoft MCSE, Cisco CCNA
• 4 years experience working in a similar role
