JAVA/J2EE DEVELOPER, CONTRACT, 1 YEAR+

This is a first class contract opportunity for a long-term role with a Government Department who are one of the foremost users of Java Technology in the public sector. The Department seeks the provision of 2 Java/J2ee developers to provide support in the development and maintenance of key IT systems. These systems relate to: Inspections, Generic Claims Processing and Stock Movements and are developed in a team environment.
You will need 3 years solid commercial experience ideally on large enterprise systems development across the project 'Life Cycle'. Government experience while not essential would be a plus. The technology skills required are JAVA/J2ee framework, Spring Framework and Spring AOP, Entity Java Beans and EJB3 (EJBs), HTML, XML, AJAX, Java Script, ADF, SQL and IBATIS. You will also have at least 1 years experience in development and deployment of Java Server Faces (JSFs), Tiles and Stylesheets and an Oracle RDB (9,10). In addition a good track record in developing, testing, Web stress testing and implementing systems in the specified environment would be highly advantageous. Good communication skills in producing well-written and well-presented reports/ documentation are a pre-requisite.
