Clinical Data Coordinator:
Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist in ensuring the integrity of clinical trial databases.
2. Assist in basic data and discrepancy review.
3. Carry out basic quality control procedures under supervision.
4. Write data clarifications as directed by the Lead Data Manager.
5. May resolve data clarifications, as directed by the Lead Data Manager.
6. Meet personal and project objectives, as assigned, bringing problems to the attention of the Lead Data Manager.
7. Understand and comply with core operating procedures and working instructions.
8. Perform other duties as directed by the Lead Data Manager or Functional/Line Manager.
9. Develop and maintain good communications and working relationships with CDM team.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
A degree in clinical, biological or mathematical sciences or field, or nursing qualification with no experience, or no degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
EXPERIENCE
Excellent organizational, communication and computer skills are an advantage. Ability to exercise good attention to detail required. Ability to act independently and with initiative to resolve problems. Familiarity with medical terminology an advantage.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Position requires:
Long periods of keyboarding involving repetitive motions with fingers and sitting for prolonged periods of time.
Lifting of data files, climbing steps to access filing shelves and reaching to retrieve/replace files.
