Production Biochemist:
at Stelfox Recruitment in Dublin City South
My client is a multinational pharmaceutical company located in South Dublin. They are looking for a Production Biochemist to join their expanding production team. The successful individual will be reporting to the production team-leader and will be involved in manufacturing and testing specific product ranges. This role will involve working to key metrics such as; Health & Safety, Quality/Compliance, Customer Service and Cost
Responsibilities:
• Ensuring daily production & in process / QC testing is carried out in an accurate
& efficient manner
• Identifying and resolving issues which may impact the production schedule/quality of product
• Highlighting any issues which might lead to failure in quality
• Revising documentation as required and recommend improvements where appropriate
• Working effectively to build productive relationships with other functional groups within the company
Requirements:
• Degree in a life science (preferable)
• 1-2years industrial experience within the pharmaceutical/medical device industry
• Good knowledge of production operations, quality assurance and cGMP/GLP requirements.
• Illustrating a high level of care and attention to all aspects of the role and show a desire to achieve excellence through own initiative.
• Capable of working individually or as part of a multi functional team including peers and/or supervisors
