QC Labotarory Assistant

My client is a progressive multinational located in South Dublin. They are looking for a QC lab assistant to join their expanding production team. This individual will be work closely with the QC Co-Ordinator to ensure key metrics in Health & Safety, Quality/Compliance, Customer Service and cost are met
Responsibilities:
• Maintenance and upkeep of laboratory equipment
• Highlighting any issues which lead to failure in quality or compliance in
relevant area
• Adherance to quality system and training given by company
• Co-ordination of new SOP/EOP’s
• Liaise with Engineering department to ensure all equipment is
calibrated and all relevant relevant forms are completed
• Monitoring order consumables to ensure that that no item is below
defined minimum levels
• Raising purchase orders for consumables as required by the QC team
Requirements:
• Minimum - Leaving certificate
• 1-2 years industrial experience in a manufacturing /QC environment
• Good understanding of QC operations, and cGMP/GLP requirements
• Strong organisational skills from both administrative and hands on
standpoints
• To be flexible and willing to carry out overtime as necessary.
