At Richmond Recruitment we are currently recruiting a Financial Controller.
To carry out all accounting functions together with allied tasks for the Republic of Ireland region ensuring at all times compliance with all relevant statutory obligations.
List the key skills and responsibilities of the job;
The production of monthly management accounts and reports;
Company secretarial duties as required;
Development of the annual budget plan including detailed analysis of profit and loss account, balance sheet projections and cash flow forecasts;
Responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of any commercial legal agreements;
Quarterly VAT returns;
To oversee PAYE;
Ad hoc projects as required from time to time;
Responsibility for annual audit;
Credit control;
Development and implementation of internal controls;
Continuous improvement of reporting procedures and reporting formats.
Personal Attributes;
Preferably with retail accounting experience;
CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified;
Experience of management/financial reporting to tight deadlines;
Strong analytical skills, Excel spreadsheets competence;
High level of attention to details;
Excellent communications skills;
Proactive 'can do' attitude;
