A large manufacturing company based in the Limerick urgently requires Qualified and Experienced Toolmakers.
Duties:
- Prepares parts for machining, programs computer and milling machines, and operates variety of manual and automatic machines.
- Monitors parts through production by visual observation and referencing blueprints to ensure products meet specifications.
- Performs preventative maintenance tasks on machines.
- Drive continuous improvement in relation to value engineering of product, quality improvement of the product, process improvement and input into equipment projects.
- Responsible for locating and fixing problems that affect the production of the line e.g change out cylinders, servous and PHS & PRS sensors and read switches.
Requirements:
- Trade Certificate in Tooling / Toolmaking.
- Experience in the manufacturing environment. E.g Machine Maintenance or Injection Moulding
- Intermediate English is essential.
- This is not a Tool Room based position. This is a manufacturing based position.
Salary: 1st year €40K & 2nd years up to €45K
