Pharma Lab Section Manager - Waterford

Section Manager/Lab manager - Pharmaceutical Chemistry
Salary: €60k + Bonus, Educational assistance

This person will ensure appropriate systems and controls are implemented to facilitate the rapid growth of the section and the needs of the business. The section must be managed so that customer requirements, quality requirements, and organisational goals are met. The section must be managed so that it is commercially successful and agreed financial goals must be met. The manager will lead, motivate and develop staff so that they are able to react effectively to the changing business needs.
Successful applicants will have a background in the Pharmaceutical industry and proven technical ability so that he / she can lead detailed discussions and find solutions to a wide variety of relevant technical issues. They will have a Bachelor’s degree in analytical chemistry or equivalent and a post graduate qualification is desirable. They will have a minimum of 5-7 years experience cGMP analytical chemistry with at least 2/3 years at a senior level. They will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to effectively manage a growing section.
