Food QA Co-ordinator - South Dublin

Food Quality Assurance Coordinator required for a medium sized food manufacturer based in South Dublin producing quality products for some of the major catering and retail organisations in Ireland.
The successful candidate will work in a quality role as part of the company, reporting to the Management Team. Responsibilities will include the day to day management of HACCP and Quality Control procedures within the company.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)
Day to day management of HACCP & Quality Control procedures including conducting daily on-line production checks and overall control of relevant records.
Ensuring compliance to all relevant legal and customer requirements.
Liaising with staff and management throughout the organisation to ensure that the highest possible standard of the quality assurance system is continuously achieved.
Ensuring Good manufacturing standards are maintained on the production floor.
Conducting regular Quality and Food Safety Audits – hygiene, glass etc
Preparing for audits (E.g. BRC, customer audits and regulatory authorities).
Compiling reports such as micro, suppliers & customer complaints.
Completion of product quality & positive release checks on various products across the site
Quality inspection of products against specification and reporting out of specification results.
Report and action any non-conformances.
Skills and attributes
A qualification in a Food Science / Technology / Environmental Health or related discipline.
A minimum of 2 years experience in a quality role in a food manufacturing environment.
Experience of implementation of BRC quality standard would be an advantage but not a requirement.
