Marketing, Financial & Business Reporting Support Analyst required for one of the worlds leading Blue Chip Technology firm.


We are looking for a pro active individual with the ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced work environment. The team is responsible for driving all of sales and marketing efforts within the Ireland market for certain Products. In the role your prime responsibility will be working directly with Sales Team and Channel Partners to achieve business results. This business is a fast paced and vibrant market which offers individuals a broad spectrum of experience in today's business. This role affords the successful candidate the opportunity to gain experience in a broad spectrum business across disciplines such as Sales, Marketing, Channel Management and Business Analysis.



Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting
- Responsibility for business analysis and adhoc reporting
- Weekly business tracking, ensure focus on Product & account performance V targets

• Commercial Channel
- Work closely with the IPG Channel Manager on key business reporting
- Assist with the development and promotion of key commercial marketing value
proposition

• Pricing Management
- Cross checking price file and raise issues contained therein back to Category management
- Create & manage bundle/promotion process for accounts in conjunction with account managers/category
- Communicate deals to HP channel partners - directly to managed accounts and via wholesalers for remainder of channel
- Manage the discount approval process for commercial business
- Monitoring and maintenance of HP's web pricing mechanism
• Channel Stock Management
- review wholesale stock reports on a weekly basis, ensuring that aged stock is flagged and process put in place to rectify and that low stock levels on key part numbers are addressed

• Sales Support to Commercial Channel
- Manage discount process with account managers - creation of upfront OPGs, requesting credit OPGs, communication of same to wholesaler and resellers, regular review of processes to ensure continuing best practice
- Support including pricing, credits due, communication of performance rebates, technical information, reseller escalations, New Product Introduction queries, supplies queries, ad hoc queries
- Administration of room booking systems and meeting co-ordination for the IPG Country Manager
- Provide administrative support to the IPG Country Manager, travel booking, diary management, etc?.

• Marketing support
- External tracking of competitor marketing activity for review at monthly meetings
- Collateral distribution - assess needs for sales material requirements in Ireland during promotions and monthly pricing periods;
- Create reseller training calendar - liaison with HP UK Product and Category Management to ensure adequate staff are available
- Close operational support with IPG Marketing around advertising, promotions, etc? to ensure our channels are educated and informed
- HP Web site : ensure that web master receives regular information on NPI's, promotions and ensure that we utilise any web opportunities for commercial business
- Manage the hp.com/ie commercial pricing process


Other
- Point of contact for all Ireland commercial customer and reseller inbound calls - warranty issues, general queries, complaints, escalations etc.
- By default, general team administration including group travel; group room and conference booking; general facilities point of contact

Education:

Potential candidates to have a Business, Marketing, IT or related degree discipline (preferable) although experience working in a fast paced operations/sales support role in similar industry will be considered.


Experience:

Good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft office and general use of office equipment is essential. Particularly a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Good communication skills are paramount and the ability to demonstrate some work experience or participation in meaningful extra- curricular activities is required.

Skills:

A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to work either independently or as part of a cross functional, multi cultural team is a must. Accuracy, initiative and fluent English are required. Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.
