We are looking for a dedicated, self motivated, driven marketing professional to lead significant elements of our marketing and sales activity in the Irish market. The successful candidate will have in-depth marketing experience, ideally gained within the gaming & betting industry and will take on the following responsibilities within the role;
THE RESPONSIBILITIES.
• Working with P&L and central marketing team to plan, design and deliver integrated campaigns across all product categories, with particular focus on Betfair’s sports offering.
• Working with and reporting to the Irish Country Manager to develop the strategic focus and deliver these campaigns within the Irish P&L.
• Work with the Insight team to better understand and refine segmentation of IRE customers and develop relevant and personalised content.
• To project manage key sponsorship activities in the Irish market, ensuring maximum ROI in acquisition and brand terms.
• To ensure all activity objectives and KPIs are clear and can be tracked effectively.
• To prepare campaign briefs before key activities and work with central marketing functions (Retention, Acquisition, Brand and Creative) to deliver to timescale and budget.
• To carry out post-activity and/or campaign analysis to measure effectiveness and make sure lessons learned.
• To track campaign budget spend and commitment.
• To propose and implement changes to future activities and/or campaigns based on learning. Increasing the operational effectiveness of campaigns and adjusting budget allocation to the highest ROI channels is key.
• Plan and test new approaches to our Irish marketing & sales activities.
THE MUST HAVES (skills & knowledge)
• Graduate with 5+ years marketing experience in commercially focussed, B2C organisation(s) focused on sales, marketing and customer retention, with significant online experience.
• Proven expertise in campaign analysis, customer segmentation, business intelligence and monitoring ROI.
• Specific detailed experience in Data Analysis & Reporting is an advantage.
• A good understanding and a passion for sports & betting is desirable.
• A creative thinker who wants to make a difference.
• Commercially orientated team player.
• Organised, a good planner and self starter.
