Accountant - Investment Company
Investment boutique required financial accountant to work on their Finance Team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the main areas of responsibility will include:
-Preparation of the monthly management accounts and variance analysis
-Preparation of year-end financial statements and coordination of the annual audit.
-Preparation of regulatory returns
-Ongoing review and monitoring of the firm's adherence to the requirements imposed on the firm by the Financial Regulator.
-Coordination of the annual client money audit
-Co-ordination and implementation of the Compliance Monitoring Plan for the firm.
-Preparation of Corporation tax computations and returns.
-Development of finance systems and processes including internal controls
-Other ad-hoc duties
The ideal candidate for this role will be:
-Fully qualified ACA from a big four accounting firm.
-Absolute discretion and professionalism
-Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills with an ability to work with individuals at all levels within the organisation
-Ability to work on own initiative
-Ability to work in a fast paced, challenging environment with changing priorities
-Strong communications skills, both written and oral
-Strong process improvement skills
Our client is a private owned Irish asset management company, based in Dublin much of their focus is on the European and American markets.
Remuneration will be very attractive to include an above market rate salary, excellent bonus and benefits.
