Internal Audit - Newly Qualified ACA

Internal Audit, PLC, Newly Qualified Accountant
The Group Internal Audit team is responsible for assessing the operational and financial risk management and controls of CRH and for helping our business achieve better efficiencies, optimising our performance and growth.
Specific responsibilities will include:
-Participation in Audit Work
-Individually, or working as part of a small team, carry out multi-scope reviews of, and SOX work on, operational and financial risk management and control at CRH and its worldwide subsidiaries
-Co-ordinate communication and activities with internal audit teams in other countries
-Devise practical solutions, and offer advice and guidance to issues that arise in the course of this work
-Carry out special project work as requested
-Use of audit software where necessary to assist these review (training is provided)
Reporting
-Compile oral and written reports and recommendations on issues arising during audit work
-Co-ordinate the reporting of issues arising, and receipt and adequacy of the responses of management
-Liaise with Senior Group and Operating Company Management on issues and solutions
Promotion of Best Practices
-Identify the needs and best methods to improve risk management and internal control across the CRH Group
Suit qualified ACA with a strong academic and technical background. Candidate with have strong financial and analytical skills in addition to strong written and IT skills. Suit ACA with lots of initial, commitment and objectivity. Posession of a full clean drivers licence essential.
Our client has operations in 28 countries with annualised sales of in excess of €20bn and employ over 80,000 people at more than 3,000 locations.
Remuneration package will be very attractive to include a basic salary of c.€55-65k + Bonus + travel allowance (in addition to expenses) + Pension + Share Scheme + Share Participation.
