Position: German Helpdesk Support
Type: full-time, temporary
Location: Galway
Salary: up to €21,000
The job:
Your job is to provide support on SaaS solutions to the small and medium business market. Your duties will include:
• Handle incoming and outgoing calls of a technical nature from both German and English speaking clients
• Provide advice and support to clients using an online support tool whilst working closely with other departments to solve clients’ problems
• Act as a interpreter between German speaking clients and English speaking colleagues and write translations when necessary
• Escalate complex problems to 2nd or 3rd line support teams
The requirements:
• Native German speaker, fluency in English
• Previous experience in a technical support/helpdesk role in a global organisation
• Strong general IT knowledge and understanding; familiarity with networks, operating systems and programming languages such as C#, C++ or Java is an advantage
• Accurate, professional, analytical
