We have currently a vacancy for an experimented Design Engineer to carry out preliminary and detailed alignment design of road schemes in Ireland

DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

- Deal with the weekly and monthly meeting with the Client, the representatives of everyone involved in the project – Suggest every improvement as identified in need for the successful completion of the Project – Preparation of Geometric Design for Horizontal and Vertical layout of the roads using software – Prepare layout such as intersections, road sections and other road details.

- Leadership – Initiative and innovation – Skilled communicator – Social affairs comprehension – Persistent and innovative trouble-shooter – Analytical ability to identify existing problems and implement appropriate solutions

REQUIREMENTS

- Degree in civil engineering with a minimum of 3 years design experience – A good Knowledge of relevant traffic engineering programs

You will be responsible for managing the production process. Provide employees with the necessary guidance, counselling, and tools to manufacture products using raw materials such as titanium, fibre metal, etc. Manage the machining, polishing and testing functions. Supervise a team of hourly, administrative/technical and exempt employees.

You will have 7+ years experience from a metal machining background or have knowledge of metal processing with a 3rd level degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience in Orthopaedic, Aerospace, Cardiovascular, Pharmaceutical or FDA regulated environment.

Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or other process improvement is required.

Duties:

Prepares parts for machining, programs computer and milling machines, and operates variety of manual and automatic machines.
Monitors parts through production by visual observation and referencing blueprints to ensure products meet specifications.
Performs preventative maintenance tasks on machines.
Drive continuous improvement in relation to value engineering of product, quality improvement of the product, process improvement and input into equipment projects.
Responsible for locating and fixing problems that affect the production of the line e.g change out cylinders, servous and PHS & PRS sensors and read switches.

Requirements:

Trade Certificate in Tooling / Toolmaking.
Experience in the manufacturing environment. E.g Machine Maintenance or Injection Moulding
Intermediate English is essential.
This is not a Tool Room based position. This is a manufacturing based position.

Salary: 1st year €40K & 2nd years up to €45K

A Limerick based company requires a Device Modelling Engineer.

You will be responsible for keeping up to date with industry best practice for model extraction through reading of research papers, attendance of conferences/workshops and conducting own research. While working closely with the process development group during the conception and run up of new semiconductor fabrication processes, this person needs to develop a very good understanding of the structure and performance characteristics of every device being offered by the new processes. The role will also involve research into techniques of improving the accuracy of both new and existing model sets.

You will have 3rd level degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics or Applied Physics. A Masters in Engineering or previous experience in device characterisation and modelling is highly desirable. A strong technical ability is essential with a good understanding of MOS and BJT device physics.
