She self-diagnosed herself with a frozen shoulder, a condition characterized by stiffness and pain in the shoulder joint, which typically begins slowly and worsens over time before improving within 1 to 3 years.
The Mayo Clinic explains that a frozen shoulder can occur after prolonged shoulder immobility, such as after surgery or a broken arm. Jones, a mom-of-three, attributed her condition to perimenopause, a stage in a woman's life where hormonal changes can lead to various health issues. This isn't the first time Jones has dealt with a frozen shoulder. She recalled that this was the third time in six years that she had experienced this issue.
