Artisan Baker wanted for exciting new bakery concept… Enthusiastic, creative and passionate person wanted.
An exciting opportunity to get involved at the launch of a new venture.The suitable candidate will need a minimum of 3 years bakery experience and should include making high quality, herbaceous and artisan pies (savoury and sweet), soups and sausage rolls.
The key responsibilities:
– To plan and prepare quantities and preparation in advance to ensure sufficient and timely deliveries of finished products.
– To make and finish the range of products to the specified recipes and to the highest quality standards required.
– To give input and assist in developing and creating a new product range with a true passion for the food industry and as such be creative in bringing new ideas
– To maintain flexibility in day to day activities to ensure customer orders are accommodated.
– To control the use of ingredients, minimise the waste of ingredients and finished products and to maintain the food cost at the agreed level.
– To comply with all HACCP and hygiene requirements to ensure high standards of hygiene and food safety at all times.
– To complete all daily paperwork and participate in the routine reviews of these records and results (e.g. Daily sheets, Orders, waste records, food cost, HACCP records etc.)
